Tony Beswetherick KC

As a proud member of the borough, I look forward to making a contribution to One Richmond’s mission to improve the lives of local residents.

Tony Beswetherick KC has called the Richmond borough home for 16 years, raising and schooling his two children here. In his professional life, Tony is a King’s Counsel with more than 20 years of experience as a barrister. Having long been involved in volunteering, he uses his connection to the law community and legal expertise to give back to the community.

Tony regularly takes on pro bono legal work and has been a volunteer at the Richmond Legal Advice Service drop-in clinic. Additionally, over the years that he has been at the Bar, he has been involved in various charitable projects, including the International Law Book Facility (a charity which distributes donated legal textbooks to foreign non-profit organisations) and the Personal Insolvency Legal Advice Service (providing free legal advice and assistance to indebted individuals).
