OneRichmond Announces Development Board
OneRichmond have announced their brand new Development Board, made up of high-impact local leaders looking to make a real difference in our borough.

OneRichmond’s new Development Board is made up of inspiring local leaders who are keen to create positive change in their community.
The new Development Board is made up of some of these high-impact local changemakers who will play a vital role in OneRichmond’s fundraising and local engagement, as well as helping to deliver programmes that address areas of desperate need within the community.
“I am a very proud and grateful Richmond resident and love the opportunity to do something to support and help fellow residents,”, says Ritu Muhandru, one of the Board’s founding members. Throughout the coming year, the Development Board will partake in key events, develop exciting new fundraising initiatives, and work with local charities to provide much needed support to vulnerable people and neglected causes within the borough. One of these key events will be a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style fundraiser in Spring 2026, giving charities the opportunity to pitch in front of key funders and demonstrate the importance of their work.
The Board met for the first time last Thursday, discussing plans for future fundraising and grant-giving events, such as our Dragon’s Den event which will be happening next year. Together they have set a fundraising target of £250,000 for this event, which will be used to support local charities that often don’t receive the support of larger funders.
They also discussed the upcoming launch of the OneRichmond Funding Network, which brings together Richmond donors and local organisations through live, engaging giving events. These events will spotlight urgent local needs, particularly around social isolation. and gives donors the opportunity to support credible, vetted charities directly.
The first Development Board meeting marks the start of an exciting new chapter for OneRichmond, bringing together local people to drive real change in our borough.
