OneRichmond’s Dragons’ Den-Inspired Pitching Event For Charities

Date: Tuesday 9th June

Location: The Exchange, TW1 1BE

Donations are still open!

OneRichmond’s Dragons’ Den-inspired event is a live, high impact pitching event where selected grassroots charities present their work to a panel of funders (“Dragons”) in a dynamic, public format. The first edition of this event took place on 9th June, 2026.

Six selected charities deliver a short pitch in front of four philanthropic Dragons, as well as a public audience. The Dragons then allocate their funding based on these pitches, and audience members are able to donate on the night. The 2026 event was hosted by Jim Rosenthal, acclaimed sports broadcaster and TV presenter.

During the interval, audiences have the opportunity to meet the charities to find out more about their work, pledge volunteering hours, pro-bono services and/or non-monetary donations.

The charities chosen for the 2026 event were: Otakar Kraus Music Trust; The Mulberry Centre; Richmond Borough Mind; MTV Youth Hampton; Brighter Together; and Richmond Mencap. You can donate to them here until 20th June.
